Explore the palace where from one point you will see: two countries, two rivers meeting and the ruins of a castle that was blown up by Napoleon’s army. After the castle tour, next stop will be the cozy local wine tavern “Viecha Sv. Urbana v Devíne”, situated just few minutes walking from the castle, where you will experience traditional taste of currant wine, so typical for this location.The traditional local currant wine made from red and black currants alongside with Devin Castle and Devinska Kobyla has definitely belonged to Devin for many years. Wine tasting itself will be demonstrated by our experienced sommeliers.
When the wine tasting is over, you will return back to Bratislava.

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a visit to Bankska Stiavnica, a little medieval town attracts tourists with its treasures and unforgettable atmosphere. Having belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stiavnica is filled with a rich history of mining gold and silver, a complex of amazing tajchs (artificial water reservoirs), famous calvary (a symbol of belief ), and stylish coffee shops full of friendly people.
The district of Stiavnica became the object of intense interest in the middle ages. In brief document sources it is called as the territory of miners! The mine excursion offers viewing of historical mining objects (architecture and machines), as well as possibility to see and actually enter a former medieval historical mine. Follow the underground path, through old galleries, where silver and gold were exploited. Finished with mine? Keep going! Stop at the building complex of the Old Castle which includes also the Chapel of St. Michael and one of the most elegant architectural dominants of the town – New Castle. It stands as the guard near the entrance to Banska Stiavnica.
