Tallinn is capital city of Estonia. it is an exciting mix of old and new. Versatile nightlife and luxurious adventures with rich cultural scene in the local historical setting.

Day 1
Arrive in Tallinn

Departure from your home town, flight to land in Tallinn  (TLL), capital city of Estonia.

Upon arrival, transfer to check in at hotel. Free & overnight.   

Day 2
Tallinn

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a 5-hours Tallinn city tour.

For starters, have a look at the "hipsterville" Kalamaja as well as Kopli and Paljassaare peninsulas, which all hide some real architectural gems and interesting stories. From there drive through Lasnamäe district to Kadriorg, Pirita and Viimsi which lie on the other side of the Tallinn Bay from where we started in the morning. You see the differences in each of the city districts, understand the history and the local communities a little better than before.
Lastly, will visit to the Old Town which has managed to wholly preserve its structure of medieval and Hanseatic origin. We walk both in the lower and upper part of the Old Town, see the most important sights, hear the stories of past and present and admire the view from different viewing platforms.

After sightseeing, back to hotel. Free and overnight. Lunch & Dinner on guest own account.

 

Day 3
Tallinn - Russia Border

Breakfast at hotel. Discover the north-eastern part of Estonia to the Russian border. The main draws for north-eastern Estonia are the highest waterfall in Estonia, the longest sandy beach in Narva-Jõesuu, Narva – the EU border town with Russia, the largest permanent video projection area in the whole of Eastern Europe, lessons how to build bastions etc..
Estonia’s easternmost town Narva boasts the best-preserved castle (Hermann Fortress) overlooking a large, winding river acting as a border between Estonia and Russia. The nearby Narva-Jõesuu resort is dotted with spas and a large sandy beach that draws in holidaymakers every summer. Narva is a melting pot of Estonian and Russian cultures and a great place to stop and relax. Narva College located on the town square, an ultra-modern building paying homage to the town’s historical prosperity. The newly renovated river promenade around the castle and exploring the bastions inside and out is a must. Narva-Jõesuu beach – by a small resort town off the Gulf of Finland, at the mouth of the Narva River – is one of the more idyllic beach settings in Estonia. With a legacy that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, Narva-Jõesuu was a popular summer holiday destination for the St. Petersburg nobility of the time, who called it ‘The Pearl of the Baltic Sea’.
There are many interesting sites to stop along the route between Tallinn and Narva. Like the town of Rakvere, which draws in visitors with its impressive 13th-century castle ruins, contemporary town square and spa culture, the once-secret town of Sillamäe and the highest waterfall on the north coast of Estonia.

Day 4
Tallinn – West Coast

Breakfast at hotel. Explore the western Estonia ‘ nature, Paldiski area, Noarootsi Peninsula and the resort town of Haapsalu boasting with cute wooden architecture and long history.
First visit to the calm and friendly small town of Haapsalu, located less than 2-hour's drive from the capital, enjoy a long-standing history as a spa resort. It is a wonderful little town with narrow streets, a miniature town hall and romantic wooden dwelling houses. Once in Haapsalu, don't forget to browse for a traditional hand-woven woollen Haapsalu shawl with fine and elegant patterns.

Continue transfer to north of the coastal town of Haapsalu, Noarootsi peninsula appeal to travelers with their untouched nature and Scandinavian feel.
Then visit to Paldiski, located on the Pakri Peninsula, was one of the most important army bases for both the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union. Come and see for yourself how the town, which used to be a closed Soviet nuclear submarine study centre, has changed. On the way back to Tallinn we'll stop for a beautiful waterfall by a river.

Day 5
Tallinn - Nature

Breakfast at hotel. Take a trip out of Tallinn to visit the Lahemaa National Park, which serves as an authentic taster of natural and cultural landscapes in Etonia. Located on the northern coast of Estonia, Lahemaa is perfect for a hiking trip and nature watching. Here you will find stony and sandy seashores, picturesque bogs, pine and cliff forests and rivers that cut into the limestone cliff. There are also a number of erratic rocks left over from the last Ice Age. Here you can enjoy long scenic coastal walks admiring northern Estonia’s limestone cliff lining that hides sediments and fossils dating back millions of years. Kõrvemaa Nature Reserve, located south of the national park, the large forested Kõrvemaa area is a home to moose, wild boars, brown bears, lynxes, foxes and other wild animals. Many hiking trails combine so many different landscapes that it seems like you travel through different countries. Most people come to Kõrvemaa for its forests, lakes and marshes. Here you can wander across the wooden trails in local bogs, climb the hills and go hiking on sandy roads in the wilderness. There are over 100 different lakes in Kõrvemaa alone. The hike will take up to 3 hours and require moderate physical preparation. It’s a good place for some amazing nature photography or just relaxing by the lake in a pine forest.

Day 6
Tallinn / home

Breakfast at hotel.  Check out.

Transfer to Tallinn airport, board the flight return to your home town.
